How does the motion sensor bulb work?
The bulb uses infrared (PIR) technology to detect human movement within a 5-metre range. When motion is detected in low-light conditions (below 5 lux), the bulb turns on automatically. It switches off 25 seconds after movement stops.
Does the bulb work during the day?
No. The bulb has a built-in ambient light sensor and only activates in dark or dim environments (below 5 lux). During daylight or in well-lit rooms, it stays off to save electricity — even when motion is detected.
What base type does this bulb use?
The standard version uses an E27 (Edison screw) base. A B22 (bayonet cap) version is also available — simply mention B22 when placing your order and we will dispatch accordingly.
What is the lifespan of this LED bulb?
